Attorney Josh Williams

I’m Josh Williams, and I founded this firm.

I take pride in spending the time, energy, and resources necessary to advocate for my clients because I understand that your case matters. I have never been able to stand down and allow someone to suffer harm. I have to go in and help. This is my way, and it is the main reason why I do this work.

I began my legal career as a litigation associate at one of the largest law firms in Minnesota, and in 2009 I started this firm to help people who were harmed by others.

I am grateful to have tried and won significant jury trials for my clients, obtained substantial settlements; and prevailed in groundbreaking cases that set new standards in the law.

Event_Badge_Joshua_WilliamsIn one such case where I had the privilege of helping three incredibly brave young women prevail against a powerful adversary, Minnesota Lawyer honored me as an Attorney of the Year.

In another case, I had the privilege of representing a decorated veteran firefighter in front of the Minnesota Supreme Court, which issued an opinion overturning discriminatory precedent that had stood for 30 years. We were forced to go to trial, where the jury issued a verdict allowing  my client to recover an amount that represents a full vindication of his rights.

I understand that when people reach out to me who have suffered an injury—be it a physical, economic, or human one—they need help repairing the harm and getting their lives back on track. I also understand that the legal process is foreign terrain for most folk, so I make sure to keep my clients fully informed about the law, the legal process, and the available options.

I am honored to have successfully helped hundreds of people who were harmed, and I am fortunate to have recovered millions of dollars for our clients through settlements and trials to fairly compensate them for their harms and losses.

Thank you for considering working with my firm.
